As I was growing up, I loved to watch the show “Suite Life of Zac and Cody.” It is about twin brothers living in a hotel with their mother, and they would usually get into all sorts of trouble. It was fun to watch because, for me, it looked like a glamorous life; maybe it is because I love hotels, but it all just looked so fun and exciting. I could watch that show for hours and hours back then, and I would sit there and wonder what it would be like if we were to live in a hotel too.

Well, I found out that people living in a hotel do live a fabulous life. This is when they choose to live in a hotel as Marilyn Monroe did back in the day. However, some people do not choose, and their only option was to stay and live in a hotel. So today we are going to talk about the pros and cons of hotel living before you go on out there and decide that you want to start packing your bags and live at the hotel in town.

First of all, you have to compare hotel living and apartment living. Of course, when you are in a hotel, you have everything taken care of. Some housekeepers can clean for you, and some chefs can cook for you. Everything that you may need can be taken care of in a hotel. However, in an apartment, you get the same amenities, but you would have to do everything yourself. You would have to cook, clean, and wash for yourself. The plus side to apartment living is that you have more space, and having your apartment can be a lot healthier for your mental state.

Being in your apartment could mean that you feel secure and stable. This could also mean that you have neighbors and a community that can support you, especially when days are getting stressful or maybe anxiety starts eating you up. The support, acceptance, and security that comes with apartment living gives us an overall healthier mental state.

Another thing you have to consider is cost. Living in a hotel would cost a lot more than living in an apartment. If you are planning on staying for a few days, then hotel living can do just the trick, but if you are planning to stay for a longer period, then it might just be better for you to look for an apartment. The stress of bills stacking up can cause a lot of anxiety on someone. The best thing to do is plan out what happens during the next few days and see what costs less and is more comfortable for you.

If ever you decide to live in a hotel for work, then it would be best to choose a hotel closest to your office, but after a long day of work, you definitely would not want to be in the proximity of your office. So choose a hotel that may fit your lifestyle. This will help you get back into a more normal routine, and it helps introduce a sense of normalcy into your life. This also gives you a chance to take a step back from everything and give yourself a much-needed break that you deserve.

At the end of the day, you will need to breathe and take a break. You cannot keep on running on fumes. Being burned out is not an option. If not, your mental health will suffer. Overworking yourself, stress, anxiety, being in a different environment, all of these things can affect you mentally and emotionally. Allowing this to keep happening without intervention from yourself or other people can lead to a serious decline in physical health, which is why we must take care of our mental health because it will affect everything else in our life. Our decisions can be impaired, and it can change our lives forever.

So, whether you choose to live in a hotel or an apartment, what matters is that you are safe and comfortable. In the end, your comfort is the most important thing to consider. After everything you may have needed to consider before making that decision, choosing to stay in a hotel or apartment should lead to relaxation, happiness, and a healthy mind. If ever you find yourself in a hotel needing someone to talk to or just needing help in general to save your mental health, then it is vital that you reach out to the people you love and the people you know will support you no matter what. Your mental health should be a priority and not an option. So kick back, relax, and choose to be happy.
