According to the 2015 las vegas tourism statistics, the city of Las Vegas also suffered from the country’s recession. In fact, the economic downfall placed Nevada’s financial status at the bottom, which was the reason why the expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center was temporarily put on hold.

However, now that the tourism industry has come full circle and back on its game, the building of the Center was continued with a complete budget, to the last amount needed to finish it come 2020. In the meantime, here’s a list of the favorite attractions waiting to be visited this year.

The ‘Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas’ Sign. This unofficial welcome sign has had tourists anticipate their arrival in the city of lights. This iconic sign was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 2009 and has since been one of the city’s most famous spots.

The Park. This new tourist spot is worth $100 million, which is located between Park MGM and the New York-New York. It stretches from the T-mobile arena down to the Las Vegas Boulevard. It’s a great place to stroll around, with its brick pathways and the strip of open-air restaurants, and a water feature representing ‘bliss dance,’ a 40-foot statue of a dancing lady.

Fountains Of Bellagio. Yes, this is THE fountain that you see on television, the one that shoots water up in the air. This favorite spot is composed of a total of 1,000 smaller fountains, some shooting water over 450 feet high. If you want to see the water dancing in front of your eyes, be sure to go early and find a great spot.

LINQ Promenade. There are hundreds of huge malls around the city, but this open-air attraction is more than just a mall. The LINQ stretches starts from the strip all the way to the highest wheel in the world, the High Roller. While you’re here, don’t miss the bowling alley, the delicious burger stand, and the Sprinkles Bakery.
